This picture of a temple in Terelj Park, Mongolia exemplifies the beautiful color and design that is slowly fading to the effects of time and weathering. Still sacred places of worship and prayer, these temples are located inside of Terelj National Park. Located 80Km outside of Mongolia, the park is a vast land which hosts several forms of tourism such as hiking and horseback riding. This temple rests a top of a hill near Turtle Rock. Although about a 2 hour hike to reach the temple, such monistaries are worth the time to see in their shrouding of nature and peace. The setting is typically decorated with Edelweiss and other wildflowers.
