Amendment 62

This November, Coloradoans are preparing to vote on the decision of “personhood”. This ballot clearly states: “An amendment to the Colorado Constitution applying the term 'person' as used in those provisions of the Colorado Constitution relating to inalienable rights, equality of justice and due process of law, to every human being from the beginning of the biological development of that human being.” The specific statement on biological development would prohibit all cases of abortion, including rape, incest, or when the woman’s life is in danger. There are several groups that are setting up events to rally for and against Amendment 62.

Planned Parenthood is setting up efforts against Amendment 62 such as rallies on the Capitol steps to demonstrate. Also, several prayer rallies are taking place throughout Denver this fall at different local churches and groups.
